Managing director of Fisher &Paykel Appliance UK & Europe and founder of Saddleup! David Woollcott is the key speaker at Foyne Jones Job Seekers Club on Friday, February 5 11-12 (GMT).
Saddleup! is an umbrella network of leaders supporting out of work professionals.
Born out of the COVID-19 crisis, David Woollcott provided 20-minute sessions for job seekers to ask questions, and he provided feedback free of charge.
He offered his LinkedIn network and others to contact him to make an appointment.
Woolcott’s knowledge includes having been made redundant himself, through to making redundancies, as well as recruiting more than 250 people across his 18-year career.
Following feedback and support from colleagues and friends, Woollcott decided to keep this initiative going and still offers six 20-minute sessions per week.
This idea has now expanded and he has joined by a number of executives and leaders from banking, construction, live entertainment, buying, automotive and legal who are also offering up 6 free 20 minutes sessions each week.
Working in partnership with Quooker UK and run on a weekly basis throughout January, February and March, candidates must book a space at the Job Seekers Club which are limited to 50 participants per session.
Each instalment is hosted by, founder and managing director at Foyne Jones, Peter Jones and provides attendees with informal guidance, career advice, as well as self-motivation techniques.
