Dublin-based KAL Group to distribute De Dietrich in the UK

Following the liquidation of De Dietrich Kitchen Appliances, Dublin-based distributor KAL has signed an agreement with Groupe Brandt to promote and distribute the De Dietrich in the UK. 

As part of the agreement, KAL Group will honour all De Dietrich warranties and the company has appointed members of staff from the former Fagor Brandt-owned subsidiary. A stocking project is also underway.

Established in 1981, the KAL Group is a member of the Gowan Group, a family-owned holding company and trades under the name of AB Distributors in Northern Ireland.

Following the partnership agreement with Groupe Brandt (France), it sees the company expand into the mainland UK market.

The De Dietrich brand will add to KAL Group’s portfolio, which includes AGA, Bauknecht, Elica, Haier, Neff, Franke and Insinkerator.
