Celebrating 70 years, Dualit searching across the globe for its oldest toaster
As part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, British small appliance manufacturer Dualit has launched an international competition to find its oldest working toaster.
According to the company, it regularly hears from customers who have had their Dualit toaster for years, some of which have been passed down generations.
The customer who can prove they own the company’s oldest toaster will win a Dualit Classic Kettle, Hand Mixer, Hand Blender Set, Blender, Coffee Machine, Milk Frother, a selection of coffee and tea capsules, as well as a limited edition 70th Anniversary, two-slot Classic Toaster, which will be just one of 70.

To enter your toaster into the competition, take a photo of the model and of the base or side plate label, as this holds the key information on when the toaster was made.
Email these photos to dualit70@dualit.com or post to Dualit’s Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Google+ pages, including the tag #Dualit70 along with how long it’s been toasting.
The deadline for entering the compeition is October 9, 2015.
The winner of the competition will be announced on the official incorporation date – October 16 – on the Dualit website and social media pages.
Founded by Max Gort-Barten (CBE) in 1945, Dualit remains an independently-owned, third generation family business. It owns over 100 patents, design registrations and trademarks.
