Leading international manufacturer of designer bathrooms Duravit has unveiled its flagship showroom, ‘Duravit London’, in Clerkenwell.

General manager of Duravit UK Martin Carroll said: “The showroom is designed for retailers, architects and designers, acting as a hub for ideas, inspiration and specialist technical advice.

“The aim is to bring designer bathrooms to life. The London showroom will be a focal point for professionals to see first-hand the quality of Duravit’s innovative designs and working displays.”

Measuring approximately 2,500sq ft, the showroom is situated at 36-42 Clerkenwell Road, and officially opens on June 25, 2018.

Martin Carroll commented on why Clerkenwell was the right location for the company: “Duravit is a major player in innovative bathroom design, and Duravit UK is established as one of the most important and best performing export markets.

“So, the next logical step was to open a showroom in London. Clerkenwell is home to more creative businesses and architects per square mile than anywhere else in the world.

“Therefore, it was important that Duravit be strategically located in the heart of one of the most important design districts for global projects and specification.”

Visitors to the showroom can experience more than 20 Duravit series, including Duravit’s latest innovations such as XSquare, a new furniture collection designed by Kurt Merki Jr, and the Brioso furniture series by Christian Werner.

Martin Carroll talked about the priorities of the showroom design and expectations of the space: “The opening of our new London showroom is the perfect platform to showcase our extensive product portfolio, through exciting and interactive product designs and holistic displays.

“It was also important to create a meeting place for our business partners so that they can share ideas and keep abreast of industry news.”

He added: “The London showroom is a place of bathroom expertise and project support. In addition, training and CPD seminars will form part of a continuous programme of professional development for the A&D community and our retail partners.

“The generous floor space also provides a comfortable space to meet and socialise with our industry partners.”
