Sink, tap and cooker hood manufacturer Franke has launched an online training programme, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting its retailer network.

Franke launches online training academy

Through the Franke Academy, retailers can access bite-sized training sessions to provide them with knowledge about the product categories within the Franke portfolio and help them maximise sales.

Seven hour-long online sessions have been developed based on customer feedback, each of which can be tailored to the needs of individual businesses.

The sessions available to book are: What’s New? – New Product Introductions; Profits Push – Increased Profitability; Boiling Brilliant! – Instant Boiling Water; Get Fresh – Filtered Water; Clean Up – WDU; A breath of fresh air – Hoods; and An Introduction to Carron Phoenix.

Each training session provides an overview of key products within the category and looks at their benefits, technical features and how they reflect key consumer trends.

Designed to be interactive, the training also includes an opportunity for a Q&A session.

The sessions are being held regularly, on request, and are delivered by a Franke contact.

Sales and marketing director at Franke UK Jo Sargent said: “The Franke Academy is the latest development within our extensive retailer support package designed to help our customers generate sales and enhance their margins.

“The training sessions are designed to help our retail partners learn more about the Franke brand and the features and benefits of key Franke products, giving them the tools to upsell and increase profits.

“The training also encourages two-way dialogue and presents another opportunity to listen to the needs of our customers and their views on the market.

“We’ve already trialled the sessions among our distribution partners and the feedback so far has been very positive.”
