Coinciding with the global Plastic Free July campaign, Franke is asking kitchen and bathroom professionals to participate in its survey on attitudes of single use bottles.

The Snapshot Survey is to get a view across the kitchen and bathroom industry of attitudes to, and consumption of, single-use plastic bottles.

Results of the survey will be collated and published, to share the insights from across the industry.

Franke recently launched its Refill not Landfill campaign aimed at reducing the use of plastic water bottles in everyday life through a retail promotion.

Running until October 31, the promotion sees its Studio Partner retailers providing consumers with two free water flasks when purchasing any Franke or sister brand Carron Phoenix tap with filtration.

Managing director at Franke UK Neil Clarke said: “We’d love to see as many people as possible taking part in this survey. We believe that small changes can make big differences and this short survey is designed to encourage us to think about the individual and collective actions across business that can help reduce plastic waste.

“The results will give us a snapshot of where we are at now on this topic and we hope encourages people, far and wide across the industry, to think about the changes they can easily make in their everyday lives.”

There are 50 reusable water flasks to give away as a thank you for taking part in the survey. These will be drawn at random at the beginning of August.

Franke’s survey found that 70% of workplaces do not currently offer a dedicated recycling facility. Alternatively, read about the latest trends for filtration and boiling water taps.
