Blooming Great Tea Party fundraising for Marie Curie reaches audience of 1.1million

Franke, along with 190 of its More in Store’ retailers have raised over £8,250 and reached an audience of 1.1million as part of its Blooming Great Tea Party fundraising for Marie Curie.

The number of retailers taking part this year increased by 245%, with a PR, marketing and social media campaign reaching over 1.1million.

It saw the fundraising drive more than double its original target of £3,000. J Sheppard & Son in Wiltshire was the showroom that raised the most money, and rewarding its efforts was provided a chocolate masterclass by UK World Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks.

Marketing director at Franke Fiona Bowyer said: “We really stepped up the Tea Party campaign this year and are bowled over by how many More in Store retailers joined in the fundraising fun.

Retailers have engaged with their local communities and generated some great local PR while raising vital funds for Marie Curie. And with a reach of over 1.1million, we have been able to raise awareness of Marie Curie, More in Store and Franke to a much wider audience.”

She continued: “We are already looking forward to our 2017 campaign!”
