Artwork to raise money for Chesterfield-based Ashgate Hospicecare

Commercial washroom and catering manufacturer Franke has created a Tree for Life to raise money for Ashgate Hospicecare, which is local to the Chesterfield-based company.

The artwork is displayed in the reception of the hospice and in return for a one-off donation or regular monthly contribution a leg, apple or dove can be inscribed with a name and hung on the tree. There are 300 spaces on the tree and all donations will be used to support the work of Ashgate Hospicecare.

Product management and marketing co-ordinator for Franke, Dale Hardy, commented “Ashgate Hospicecare is always looking for creative ways to raise much needed funding. This is a highly visual tool for them to promote donations and contributions from the local community.

“The Tree of Life has been designed and manufactured right here in Chesterfield, with input from our engineers, designers and apprentices. We are very proud of our association with Ashgate Hospicecare and this latest project looks absolutely stunning.”

Sue Mason from Ashgate Hospice care commented “With all of the 300 spaces on the tree filled, this would mean the Hospice could fund two Ashgate Hospicecare Specialist Nurses each year. The Tree of Life looks absolutely wonderful – we are so thrilled with it. Franke has been so helpful throughout the whole process and working so closely with them has been brilliant – we really can’t thank them enough. Please do get in touch with us if you would like details on how to make a donation.”
