Sponsorship presented to a More In Store dealer, following a competition

Following a competition with its More in Store retailers to find a candidate to study the Foundation Degree in Kitchen Design at Bucks New University, Franke has selected Natalie Peters of Kitchens Etc in Norfolk.

Natalie Peters works for her family’s business, which has been established for over 30 years, having joined the company from school.

She has scooped a 50% paid scholarship from Franke for the duration of the three-year distance learning degree, which is backed by the kitchen industry through The Kitchen Education Trust.

Peters commented on winning the scholarship: “I have been involved with our family business since I was a small child earning pocket money at the weekends. Over the years, I have widened my experience in many areas of it and also studied interior design. When I saw the opportunity to do a formal qualification with the help from Franke, I jumped at it. I have wanted to move more fully into the role of a kitchen designer, working alongside my father, and the degree course offers fantastic scope for leaning and interaction with respected industry experts.”

Managing director of Franke UK Neil Clarke said: “We recognise that The Kitchen Education Trust are making a real difference to our industry and are delighted to offer this sponsorship opportunity as part of our commitment to improved professionalism within the industry, and to our More in Store initiative. Natalie’s application shone with passion and enthusiasm and we are delighted to be supporting her career development.”
