Media 10 to create live consumer show in May at the NEC, Birmingham
Organiser of the Grand Designs Live show Media 10 has partnered with award-winning daytime TV show This Morning to launch a consumer show, running from May 18-21 at the NEC in Birmingham.
The four-day show will feature elements associated with the show from home, gardening, lifestyle and wellbeing, through to food and fashion, featuring well-known brands, small boutiques and retailers.
In addition, it will feature live appearances from This Morning presenters including Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby. ITV Daytime managing director Emma Gormley said: “This Morning is one of ITV’s most loved and iconic brands. With our fantastic presenting talent and the wonderful mix of content that we’ll be taking on the road, this event promises to delight fans of the show across the country.”
Events director at Media 10 Katy Roberts added: “This Morning is without doubt the most exciting launch into the consumer event space for 2017. Myself and the team will curate a spectacular line-up of brands across our key lifestyle zones including home & garden, fashion, beauty & wellness, food & drink. This event will be a real experience for our visitors who will see the nation’s favourite daytime TV show brought to life through compelling content and features.”
While marketing director of Media 10 Rob Nathan explained the company had carried out “extensive research” to create the feature and lifestyle content. He stated: “We’ve worked closely with ITV and are very proud to be partnering with such a prestigious broadcaster on what will be a ground-breaking launch show.”
