Grundig teams up with London Food Month

Named official appliance partner

Home appliance brand Grundig is the official appliance partner of London Food Month, a festival produced by the London Evening Standard.

Running throughout June, London Food month will see a series of food and drink events across the capital from high-end dinners to free community events.

Grundig will provide the appliances for the Night Market stalls, an outdoor dining experience near Kensington Gardens.

In addition, Grundig will also help promote awareness of food waste and hunger by working with official charity partner The Felix Project, alongside international chefs including three Michelin-starred Massimo Bottura.

Brand manager of growth brands at Beko Gino Grossi said: “At Grundig, our Respect Food programme spans both product development and working with partners to use surplus food for good causes. We believe people should not only enjoy good food but respect is too – which means wasting less.

“Our new partnership with London Food Month provides us with an exciting opportunity to showcase the advanced cooling technologies within our refrigeration range, such as Ion Fresh, Duo Cooling and the Vitamin Care Zone, which help to keep food fresh, for longer, and waste to a minimum.”
