Already present in the IoT world, Haier Europe will demonstrate how connected ecosystems spanning appliances, air conditioning, solar systems and PV can be controlled by its hOn app.

The revised hOn app allows for the management of all the three brand appliances, with its latest development as an app open to everybody, including those who do not have a smart product at home.

IFA 2023 will also see launches across its three brands of Haier, Hoover and Candy, with connectivity at the heart.

At the recent Haier Europe Conference, CEO for the UK and Ireland, David Meyerowitz stated: “By 2025, 100% of our sales will be connected appliances,”

Haier launches will include Haier X Series 11 laundry with an Air Treatment and energy class rating of A-40%, as well as I-Pro Series 7 Plus which is A-30% energy rated, as well as multidoor Cube 90 Series 9.

It will also unveil the ID Series of connected ovens and hobs which are characterised by bionicook technology, and the luxury capsule Haier Casarte Series.

Candy will boast new design lines and a new style, including A-energy rated Fresco, 450mm wide Rapio dishwasher with an 8-place setting and Rapido Pro washing machine with energy rating A-20%

At IFA, the brand will also reveal a new series of Candy connected overs, which has been designed to offer “creative and smart” cooking experiences.

Whereas the Hoover segment of the exhibition space – the Revolutionary Hoover Home – will see the introduction of the HFX cordless upright vacuum with Cornergenie technology.

The area will host the H-Wash 700 washing machine which is claimed to offer the biggest drum in the market in standard size footprint, with an energy rating of A-30%.

This will be joined by the H-Dish 700 Pro with an antibacterial treatment, using a Dry Boost Fan.

Completing the Hoover area will be the new Premium Collection 5 of ovens and induction hobs, including connected functions, activated through the hOn app and discovered via a dedicated QR code.

“Participating in IFA in Berlin as a leader, means providing multilevel scenarios which show the way the connected functions can generate value, stated Gianpiero Morbello, Head of Brand & IOT Haier Europe.

“We convey our vision of customisation and versatility and a new comprehensive consumer care approach.

“This is why we continue to provide smart solutions that are able to make a difference through the development of technologies which enhance our everyday life and the environment.

“It is an international stage we walk on every year with renewed enthusiasm and energy, while being sure to introduce innovations that will have a starring role in the market.”
