Prior to opening his Kutchenhaus showrooms, Thomas was involved in running a building company, where he fitted kitchens as part of his work.

After becoming a father for the first time, he decided to start his own venture and on September 13, 2021, launched his first showroom.

James Thomas commented: “I’m enormously proud of the new showroom and the space looks stunning.

“We’re in a prominent position in Newbury, which means it’s great for footfall and we have big, open displays, which people will enjoy exploring.

“It gives customers the chance to start dreaming about their next kitchen and draw inspiration from different designs and shades.

“When designing, the shape of the showroom meant thinking outside the box, and we’ve created a space which people will truly love.”

He continued: “At Kutchenhaus Newbury, we pride ourselves on offering a warm welcome to everyone who walks through our doors.

“Our expert team is dedicated to providing personalised advice to help customers create a kitchen that not only looks amazing but is also built to last for many years.”

Part of kitchen furniture manufacturer Nobilia, Kutchenhaus produces German-engineered kitchens and has over 80 locations around the UK, including Cambridge.
