Brassware manufacturer Hansgrohe has won two Red Dot Awards for its Axor Edge and Hansgrohe Rainfinity showers.

It was the only manufacturer in the category Bathroom Taps & Showeheads and was rewarded with Best of Best accolades for the design of both collections  which were launched at ISH.

Edge was created by French designers Jean-Marie Massaud, 13 years after his initial collaboration with the company.

Using a process used in diamond manufacturing, Edge features precise edge and planes with the choice of a smooth or etched surface.

It features mixers for the washbasin, bath, bidet, as well as thermostatic shoewrs and come in four Axor FinishPlus colours: Polished Gold Optic, Polished Bronze, Polished Red Gold and Polished Black Chrome.

Rainfinity has already scooped Gold in the iF Design Award and features a concave shape and wall connection, which negates the need for a conventional shower arm.

It means the shower head can be adjusted between 10 and 30 degrees to keep face and hair dry, if required.
