Furniture fittings manufacturer Hettich UK has named Simeon Gabriel as its managing director, suceeding Tim Leedham who retired earlier this year.
Gabriel has 17 years of international kitchen experience, most recently as managing director of filter specialist Doulton Drinking Water.
Commenting on his new role, Simeon Gabriel commented: ”Hettich is a global business with a family ethos, improving people’s lives through clever engineering.
”It is a very exciting prospect to lead Hettich UK with its solid brand and great people, combined with products which offer innovative solutions, not only to our direct customers but to their customers, and to the end users who use the products in ther daily lives.”
He outlined the future focus for Hettich UK, as he stated: ”As the functionality and aesthetics of people’s homes become more important, the quality and intelligence of Hettich’s core products gives them significant growth potential.
”Our focus is to help customers add value to their businesses, which means prioritising their needs while also understanding those of the consumers they serve.”
Founded in 1888, family-owned Hettich employs 6,700 members of staff in almost 80 countries, supplying the furniture industry, retailers and trades.
