Solid surface brand HI-MACS has launched a virtual showroom on its website, allowing designers and architects to explore its use across differing applications.

HI-MACS is used for architectural and interior applications, such as wall-cladding or kitchen, bathroom and furniture surfaces, in commercial and residential projects.

The virtual showroom features a series of rooms – Hall, Kitchen, Bathroom, Retail and Healthcase – and users can click on information points for details of the surfaces, including colour and collection.

Zooming in on aspects of a room’s design will allow the user to look in closer detail at kitchen islands, worktops, bathroom basins and shower trays.

The interactive showroom will allow enable users to experiment with the solid surface, changing the colours and finishes.

HI-MACS surfacing material has been used by architectural design practices such as  Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Rafael Moneo, Karim Rashid, Marcel Wanders and David Chipperfield.

HI-MACS does not absorb humidity, is resistant to stains, and claims to be easy to clean, maintain and repair.
