Home appliance manufacturer Hisense has partnered with WRAP to support the inaugural Food Waste Action Week from March 1-7, 2021.

The partnership will see Hisense become a strategic partner of the campaign and as part of the brand’s support for WRAP, it has developed a range of recipes designed to use up common leftovers.

Hisense will also be donating a PureFlat RQ760 Fridge Freezer to WRAP as a competition prize for one lucky winner during Food Waste Action Week.

The PureFlat RQ760 features food preservation technology to help food stay fresher for longer, such as My Fresh Choice, which can change a zone from a freezer to a fridge to provide flexible storage.

Head of marketing at Hisense UK Arun Bhatoye said: “Tackling the issue of food waste is an ongoing battle and we are passionate about providing solutions that can really help shoppers reduce waste in their daily lives.

Last year Hisense supported WRAP’s Love Food Hate Waste campaign to raise awareness and educate consumers about reducing food waste.
