Hoover Candy launches biggest marketing campaign

Largest campaign for company in 20 years, covering consumer, lifestyle, digital and outdoor

Appliance manufacturer Hoover Candy has launched its biggest marketing campaign in over 20 years, to support the launch of its Hoover Wizard Wi-Fi enabled models.

The multi-channel campaign includes national and consumer lifestyle press, as well as digital, trade, and outdoor, even including advertising on London buses.

Marketing director of Hoover freestanding division, Steve MacDonald commented: “We are first to market with this fully connected range of Wi-Fi kitchen appliances from washing machines and dishwashers to fridges and ovens and therefore it is essential for us to raise awareness of this ground-breaking technology.

“Along with a far-reaching and impactful PR campaign and an official preview event earlier this year, our advertising campaign will help us to target key influencers and consumers.”

The Hoover Wizard range allows consumers to control, monitor and manager appliances remotely via an app. MacDonald concludes: “Our strategic advertising schedule has seen up appear in top UK titles already, including OK!, Sunday Times Magazine and BBC Good Food, as well as across London in a number of high-profile 48 sheet spots.
