Tipo-Z is a reimagination of the Zeta basin, designed by Gio Ponti in 1954, and cast in one piece.

It was the third of six events, taking place at cities across the globe, with each a launchpad for new Atelier Collection product.

But it was the first event in the series to be premiered at a physical event, the Design London exhibition, as well as digital content being streamed from the Together World Tour microsite.

Attendees at Design London could also see the first UK showing of the Atelier Collections.

The latest film in the series showcased London’s creativity and its influence on design and featured artist Soheila Sokhanvari  and textile and fashion designer Darren Cross.

At the exhibition, they both hosted sessions with visitors which included colour through to creating iconic patterns.

Commenting on the event, joint CEO of Ideal Standard International Jan Peter Tewes said: “For centuries, the rich diversity of London has allowed it to lead the world in design, art, music and more.

“The mix of its boroughs and cultures helps create the energy that London is known for, and is something we were intrigued to delve into a little deeper.

“It was great to be joined by the international design community online, as well as by those attending Design London in person, to explore how that distinct London attitude has contributed to the launch of Tipo Z.”

The Ideal Standard Together World Tour has seen the launch of the Linda-X Collection in Milan and Extra range of basins in Berlin, and will be followed by launches in Paris, Shanghai and Dubai.
