Home appliance and technology show IFA Special Edition 2020 will take place in Berlin, along with its virtual IFA Xtended Space, from September 3-5.

The hybrid event IFA Special Edition 2020 is the first onsite trade show for the tech industry since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.

It will feature 1,450 brands from 30 countries spanning its showground in Berlin as well as on its digital platforms, IFA Xtended Space and IFA Virtual Market Place.

IFA2020 Special Edition covers an areas of 30,000sqm and 150 exhibitors will be present at the Messe Berlin showground.

Within the first 24 hours, over 3,000 participants registered on the Xtended Space to join the event online, watch press conferences and talks, visit the digital exhibition and use the business matchmaking tool.

CEO of Messe Berlin Christian Goke said: “This year’s IFA truly is a Special Edition. Being a hybrid event, it serves one major purpose; to support the recovery and rebound of the industry.

Visitors to the show must register in advance and will receive access to the IFA 2020 Xtended Space, the digital extension of the IFA 2020 Special Edition.
