Consumer electronics and home appliances exhibition IFA has launched a b2b platform for its visitors, IFA Virtual, ahead of the show.

IFA unveils virtual experience ahead of show

IFA takes place across 30 halls at Berlin Exhibition Grounds from September 2-6 and will include brands such as AEG, Beko, Bosch, Candy, Electrolux, Haier, Hoover, Liebherr, Kaiser, Miele and Siemens.

The IFA Virtual platform will allow trade visitors to make appointments with exhibitors, offers product highlights and provides an interactive map to help plan visits.

In addition, all keynote speeches will be livestreamed on IFA Virtual and available a day later on the platform as videos on demand.

It is the first return to full-scale, real-life event since 2019, with organisers reporting exhibitors are back to “pre-pandemic levels”.

The show held a scaled down “invitation-only” version in September 2020 and the physical event was cancelled in 2021 due to COVID concerns.
