Following the success of its online seminars, wetroom brand Impey is continuing its virtual ‘We Are Wetrooms’ training seminars for the rest of 2021.
The company has now produced a schedule of pre-bookable training events, which will take place on a monthly basis, starting on July 22, 2021.
Since launching in 2016, the company’s wetroom installation training tour has welcomed over 1000 installers, retailers, plumbers, and tilers.
When face-to-face training had to be cancelled during 2020, Impey invested in a virtual training hub; with a product presentation studio and demo areas.
Purpose-made content was created for bathroom designers and installers, which combined pre-recorded videos with a variety of live Q&A sessions.
These included information on wetroom installation and floor formers, installation into a wooden/concrete floor, how to achieve an accurate gradient, drainage: gravity fed and pumped waste, as well as water proofing.
Led by Shaun Hunt, technical field manager, who has over 20 years’ experience in the sector, the online training sessions were branded ‘informative’, ‘engaging’, ‘insightful’ and ‘helpful’ by attendees.
Hunt commented: “We’re incredibly pleased that our first two virtual ‘We Are Wetrooms’ training events were a huge success.
“All the participants were engaged and contributed to the sessions with questions and comments.
“The format combining live and video elements proved really popular and we are looking forward to hosting monthly virtual training sessions starting soon.”
Group product & marketing director Chris Kingaby said: “The feedback we received from our first two virtual wetroom training events was incredibly positive.
“All the installers were keen to find out more about our products. It gave us the ideal opportunity to showcase the innovative Impey wetroom system and advise the attendees on best practice for installation.”
