The Society of British and International Design (SBID) has announced the International Design Awards finalists for 2019.

This year, the awards received entries from 48 countries, seeing an increase of 20% on the previous year.

The awards span 15 categories, including KBB Design,  Residential House under £1million, Residential Apartment under £1million and Residential Design over £1million.

Members of the public will now be asked to vote for their favourite project for each category.

They can choose from 19 finalists in the kbb category with projects across the world from the UK through to Canada, New Zealand and Russia.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony held, this year, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Mayfair, London.

New Zealand-based Celia Vissier scooped the KBB Design Category of the SBID International Design Awards in 2018.

She won the award for her Contemporary Kitchen & Bar project, which featured angular Corian.
