Global bathroom brand joins Bathroom Manufacturers Association

Global bathroom brand Jaquar has joined trade association the Bathroom Manufacturers Association (BMA) as a member.

The premium bathroom manufacturer is present in over 45 countries across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and the SAARC region.

It manufactures Jaquar and Artize branded products in six factories, based in India and one in South Korea.

CEO of the BMA Yvonne Orgill commented: “We are delighted to welcome Jaquar to the BMA.

“They are a relative newcomer to the UK market but well-established internationally as one of the largest bathroom manufacturers in the world.”

National sales manager for Jaquar Darren Chisholm added: “The BMA is recognised as the voice of the bathroom industry in the UK and is active internationally in setting standards and driving forward best practice.

“Membership is important to us as we share the BMA’s commitment to key environmental and safety issues for the bathroom industry, such as compliance and water efficiency.

Based at Keele’s Innovation Centre, the BMA represents, through its technical, marketing and management committees, over 60 bathroom manufacturing groups with more than 100 brands in the market.

The bathroom manufacturing base directly employs in excess of 10,000 people across more than 80 sites around the UK.
