German, enamelled steel bathroom manufacturer Kaldewei is set to hold the global Digital Innovation Summit 2021, boasting 60 talks and 100 speakers across 14 languages, from March 22-26, 2021.

It will cover architecture and design trends, sustainability, industry insight and product innovations, with designers and specialist from the hotel section and housing construction.

The highlight is a talk with CEO and owner of Kaldewei who Franz Kaldewei who will be speaking with Bernhard Osburg, CEO of thyssenkrupp Steel Europe AG, about sustainable steel production and processing; turning it into shower surfaces, bathtubs and washbasins.

Kaldewei and Osburg will answer questions from the journalist Andreas Horchler, including: Is there such a thing as green steel? What steps are influential companies already taking on the path to climate neutrality? What generational promises have they made?

The online event will also include a panel discussion “Future perfect: Building Successful Partnerships.

Editorial director of Hospitality Interiors Can Faik, Global VP design premium and luxury brands for Accor Federico Toresi, CEO & Creative Director of Living Design, Tarek Hegazy, CEO of Campbell House Beth Campbell and founder and creative director at Roar, Pallavi Dean will be speaking about circularity in architecture and product design.

While a Tech Talk by systems mechanic and model Sandra Hunke, with Martin Schäpermeier, technical trainer at Kaldewei Iconic World, will be giving tips and tricks from the construction site.
