Kitchen Bathroom Buying Group (KBBG), part of European kitchen and bathroom buying group DER KREIS, is sponsoring the British Institute of KBB Installation (BiKBBI), for a three year term.
This will offer KBBG members a resource to manage kitchen installations and make them more cost-effective.
Managing director of KBBG Bill Miller, commented: “It is a great pleasure and a superb opportunity to support an organisation that promotes and improves standards in our industry.
“Our business is focused solely on independent kitchen and bathroom specialist retailers, and this sponsorship creates a very positive connection for the benefit of our members.
“We hope that by working together this will help make life easier with the benefit of managing time and costs successfully.”
It will allow KBBG members to benefit from the BiKBBI’s recently launched BiKBBI Protected, an online service which allows consumers to link directly with installers, taking retailers out of fitting agreements – if required.
CEO of BiKBBIDamian Walters, explained “The sponsorship by KBBG is a great addition and will allow member retailers to signpost customers to a robust installation service, which is either delivered by the retailers’ own approved installers, the wider BiKBBI membership or a mixture of both.
“Essentially, the service takes the retailer out of the contractual equation, connecting consumers with installers nationally, creating a robust direct legal relationship, to include contracts, schedules, pricing and payments.”
Shower surround manufacturer Roman has also recently been named a sponsor of the BiKBBI.
