Cumbrian showering surround manufacturer Kudos has expanded its warehouse facilities in Sandbach, Cheshire, which now totals 80,00sqft.

Kudos invests in warehouse expansion

The company first opened its Sandbach warehouse  in 2021, to house finished goods in a more central location for delivery to its UK customers and how now expanded its facility.

A second warehouse has been added to the Cheshire site, increasing the warehouse space by 28,000 sq ft, and with a racking system it reports will double the pallet space at the facility.

Once fully racked out in Autumn, Kudos reports the space will be used to house upcoming range additions and extensions to further improve its customer service levels.

Head of operations at Kudos Kie Hitchcox said: “This extension has allowed us to not only increase our warehouse space but to streamline our operational flow with the addition of a goods-in specific entrance to the site.

“It will enable our growth plan for the next financial year and beyond.”

The Sandbach finished goods warehouse also houses the logistics and marketing teams for the business and is home to a 2,500 sq ft showroom and training area.

Kudos has also recently redesigned its website to streamline navigation and make it easier to access frequently visited pages.
