Sink press installed at factory in Long Eaton

Stainless steel sink manufacturer Leisure Sinks has installed a £1.2million press at its factory in Long Eaton, Nottinghamshire, to improve productivity.

The sink press allows the company to create complex, geometric shapes, eliminates the risks of wrinkles or cracks and offers a deeper draw resulting in a smaller grain size in the finished product.

Trade sales director at Leisure Sinks, John Peter commented on the investment: “This new sink press will considerably improve productivity, as well as maintain the high standards of design and quality Leisure Sinks is removed for. It offers easy and fast tool changing, with reduced polishing costs and start-up times, adapting to our existing production processes with ease. So, not only will the new machinery handle the demand for our sinks, it will also allow us to produce more models at a greater rate than ever before.”
