Signature Kitchen Suite is focused at the luxury end of the market

At the Berlin-based trade show IFA, LG Electronics focused on Artificial Intelligence and targeted the European built-in appliance market with the launch of its Signature Kitchen Suite.

The luxury built-in appliance range was showcased in an outdoor garden, designed in collaboration with luxury furniture designers Valcucine and Arclinea.

Signature Kitchen Suite collection includes an oven, induction hob, refrigerator, dishwasher, wine cellar and espresso machine.

Featuring steam and convection cooking, the Signature oven boasts Proheat to distribute heat evenly and Speed Clean to remove baked on residue. The dishwasher also uses steam to enhance cleaning performance.

With Wi-Fi connectivity, the Signature Kitchen Suite appliances are compatible with Artificial Intelligence platforms such as Google Assist and Amazon Alexa.

It allows users to operate appliances remotely, such as preheating the oven before getting home  and searching for App-based recipes send directly to the oven.

LG launched Signature smart appliances at CES in Vegas last year, however it was the first European showcase for the products.

President of LG Electronics Home Appliance & Air Solution Company Song Dae-hyun said: “We are excited about bringing our Signature Kitchen Suite premium home appliances to the very discerning European market this year

“We’re extremely confident that the combination of our proven smart technology and our high-end appliances will give established European brands in this category a run for the money.”

The Signature Kitchen Suite appliances will be introduced in Italy before the end of the year, with key regions to follow.
