Concept kitchen costs £100,000
LG Hausys, manufacturer of Hi Macs, unveiled a concept kitchen made from its solid surface at 100% Design in London.
The Sky is the Limit was created by design duo Xavier Bonte and Fanny Bonte, and was made from Hi Macs Alpine White, Mazarin Blue and Lucent Opal, with the form inspired by cloud formations
It featured an island with a remote-controlled lid which concealed an induction hob, extractor, sink and a mixer tap (which raised and lowered in synchronisation with the top), as well as storage drawers.

This was complemented by wall storage, with a fin-like design, which created concave and convex lines in a wave form.
When folded back, the four accordion doors had a profile of a wine bottle and wine glass. It concealed built-in appliances, including oven, coffee machine and heating drawers.
The concept kitchen is available to order and is priced around £100,000 for the furniture without the appliances
