CEO of Grohe group leads Lixil Water Technology business
The Lixil Corporation has formed Lixil Water Technology (LWT) as of today, April 1, which is led by chairman and CEO of the Grohe Group David Haines.
Headquartered in Luxembourg, LWT operates across 150 countries, manages two R&D centres (Germany and Japan), and manufactures products across 50 factories worldwide.
LWT is one of four core businesses in the Lixil Corporation, which also includes Lixil Housing Technology, Lixil Building Technology and Lixil Kitchen Technology.

According to the company LWT is the most global of the four core businesses and covers four main sales regions of Japan, EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), the Americas and Asia.
It encompasses the brands Grohe, Joyou American Standard and Lixil/Inax, which will target these markets.
Grohe and Joyou will be the brands for the EMEA market, American Standard will serve the Americas and Lixil/Inax will be the brand for Japan and Asia.
David Haines commented on the formation of the LWT business: “One of Lixil Water Technology’s special strengths lies in pooling out board-based, proven expertise.”
He continued: “All of the brands in our global business will benefit from this cumulative know-how, giving them the ideal springboard for successful development and growth going forward. At the same time, each brand value will continue to prevail and the brands themselves will remain independent within LWT.”
