Kitchen and furniture maker for high-end homes Langstaff-Ellis has expanded its in-house spray and finishing department to offer hi-tech finishes.

These will include specialist liquid metals, burnished high glosses, crackle glazes and stains.

It means components that would have gone out to third-party finishers and fabricators can be controlled through in-house workflows, reducing time and cost from the process.

These finishes are already being rolled out across luxury residential projects in London and the South East.

Langstaff-Ellis reports there are more finishes currently in development, in response to requests from construction, architecture and interior design specialists.

Managing director of Langstaff-Ellis Ed Birks commented: “Our spray and finishing facility is already cutting edge, but we’re investing further to ensure we can control quality across every detail of a commission.

“Adam Windsor joined the team earlier this year with 16 years of experience in specialist finishes and we can’t wait to see what else the team will achieve under his guidance.”
