Multi-million pound relocation creates 200 jobs

Online retailer Luxury for Less, which trades as BathEmpire.com is set to create 200 jobs following its multi-million pound relocation to Warwickshire.

The company has bought the former headquarters of Adams Children Furniture in Nuneaton on the Attleborough Fields, which measures 169,000sq ft, and is set to move in early next year.

Established in Brighton in 2006, Luxury for Less moved to the Coventry area in 2008. The new headquarters will be more than double the size of its current premises and will provide more room for warehousing, enabling the company to increase product lines and explore new areas of the market.

Chris Li, founder and CEO, said: “We currently employ around 100 in our team but expect that to grow to around 300 in the next three years with the exciting plans we have for expansion.”

Li added: “Our new headquarters is just a few miles away from where we are currently based as it was important for us to be able to retain the team that we have built since moving to the Midlands.

The relocation is part of a £5million investment programme and we have spent the past few months completely renovating the building to create a great working environment with vastly-improved facilities.”

Luxury for Less had a turnover of £14million in 2012 and the company predicts it will reach £20million by the end of 2013.
