Adrian Gillman scooped Outstanding contribution to the group and industry trophy

Managing director of Domestic Appliance Distributors (D.A.D) Adrian Gillman scooped Outstanding contribution to the group and industry trophy, at the Sirius Awards.

The honour was presented at a gala evening by Sirius director Peter Gilks, who said: “There really was no better winner for this award than Adrian. He not only met, but surpassed all our criteria for a winner. We wanted to recognise the huge growth years-on-year of D.A.D even through difficult times of recession and in an ever-changing market. He’s always strived to become number one, and from our perspective, we feel that he has achieved that.

“He continually proves that he is not only passionate about his business, but also about the industry as a whole. He has passed on this passion to his staff members, many of whom have been with him for over 20 years. All of this combined made him the obvious choice and a well-deserved winner.”

In his acceptance speech, Adrian Gillman thanked his son commercial director of D.A.D Lee Gillman and  said he was thrilled to be recognised by the Sirius group.

Gillman added he aims to “continue to be a cornerstone of the industry continually giving customers the best products, at the best price, with the best service.”
