Marketing manager of Merlyn Showering Eileen Slattery explained the company was tapping into the multi-generational market at Kbb Birmingham, supported by “market leading” stock availability.

Having previewed its Revo Rail, which combines grab rail with storage, two years prior to lockdown, Merlyn took the opportunity to launch it at this year’s event.

The shower manufacturer has packaged the accessory together with its Arysto Shower wall panel and a slip-resistant tray, as a universal design concept.

Eileen Slattery said the Revo Rail was one of the company’s big stories at Kbb Birmingham, adding: “It’s all about safety and style.”

She explained how Revo Rail answers the needs for multiple generations living under one roof, explaining: “This product caters for all different family stages and lifestyles, so I think we are tapping into something.”

Slattery added Revo was also launched in response to customer feedback who wanted storage for the showering space: “When people buy our showers, they don’t want to clutter them with bottles and all of our lotions and potions.”

It was shown on a multi-sensory experiential stand, created by interior designer by Jo Love, which featured a wellness area and healing area, highlighting the company’s support of  the Pink Ribbon Foundation raising awareness of breast cancer.

When asked what stock availability was like for its products including its latest Revo Rail, Slattery stated: “We have market-leading stock availability. We have a warehouse in the West Midlands. We invest a lot in stockholding, and it is a real key differentiator in the marketplace.”

Slattery stated a primary goal of Kbb Birmingham was seeing customers, setting up meetings and showcasing new products, including Revo, and said the company was going to achieve its benchmark of success for the show.
