CEO of MHK Group Volker Klodwig commented: “In 2025, we are expanding our architecture of future-oriented business models to include two new franchise systems with the aim of opening up additional sales opportunities with new customer target groups for our entrepreneurs.”

In view of the continuing uncertain economic development, Klodwig outlined its plans: “We have already used the past few years to further sharpen the range of services offered by our system partners and to expand our services in the areas of marketing support and digitalisation in the kitchen segment with our strong brands musterhaus küchen and Reddy Küchen.

“We are now using the year 2025 to expand the range of our business models so that our European shareholders can expand their business with new customer target groups.

“For the MHK Group, this is the core of the association group concept – as a community, we can achieve what strengthens the individual.

“We have presented and are convinced that we are giving our shareholders an excellent starting position for future and success-oriented entrepreneurial decisions with proven and new business models.”

The MHK Group emphasised the importance of its associations in Europe, having expanded into France with MHK France SAS.

Growth will also be felt in the UK, in 2025, as MHK UK’s supplier roster has now surpassed 60 brands, with the addition of Bauformat and Schüller by MHK.

Themed On Track for Tomorrow, the 2025 AGM included the Living & Style exhibition with over 100 brands participating, keynotes and workshops, including financial guidance from Kevin Bannister of The Accurate Accountant, as well as presentation of the Golden Triangle and Excellence Awards at a Gala Evening event.

British retailer Audus Kitchens scooped Golden Triangle Awards for the Most Stunning Kitchen Design below £50,000 and Most Stunning Kitchen Design above £50,000 and the Best Showroom category was presented to McManus Knight.

UK retailers commented on the importance of the MHK AGM to their business, with founder of Eat, Soak, Sleep Joe Riddell stating: “This is my first MHK AGM, and the sheer scale of it has amazed me.

“It feels very important to the role MHK plays in communicating the wider economic context to its partners no matter how big or small they are.

“As a retailer from Warwickshire, it’s important to know how events in other markets may affect us as business owners.

“It’s hard to put into words until you see thousands of independent kbb owner come together for the three-day event; the trade show has stands from some of the biggest suppliers in the industry.

“It is very much a valuable work trip for all who come, and I have had the opportunity to attend some exciting meetings this year with my supplier partners that will grow my business. Thank you MHK!”
