At the centre of the concept will be a website designed for consumers and featuring the product manufacturers and the kitchen retailers who sell the products in one place.

Sales director for MHK UK Paul Wheeler said: “We see this as a great opportunity for kitchen specialists considering joining MHK, new start-up businesses or existing members wishing to use this sales concept in their showrooms.”

Both the manufacturers and the kitchen retailers will contribute to a marketing fun that is used to promote the specialists and Kitchen Experts website.

In addition to contributing to the marketing fund, participating suppliers commit to paying an additional bonus to Kitchen Experts retailers, reimbursing their marketing spend and rewarding them when they sell the products of that supplier.

David Morris, sales manager for MHK UK, adds: “There are many talented designers and managers within the kitchen business who have sadly lost their jobs through the pandemic.

“Kitchen Experts brings an opportunity for those people to start a business and immediately benefit from the financial and marketing strength of MHK and the Kitchen Experts brand, already proven across Europe.”

Retailers joining MHK can choose to work with the Kitchen Experts concept and receive added marketing and bonuses or can work with the wider range of supply partners.

In both cases, retailers maintain their brand identity and work with a centralised payment system which streamlines the payment and invoicing process.

It gives MHK retailers a credit guarantee and payment 30 days after delivery for cashflow positive trading.

Part of the marketing fund is available directly to retailers to use in local marketing, point of sale material and a 360 Matterport showroom tour, so consumers can virtually walk around the showroom.

Participating retailers can also have two professionally written articles or blogs embedded within the Kitchen Experts website each month and the ability to link these to the retailer’s website and social media feeds.
