Buying group MHK UK will be hosting an Advice Shop for installers at the hosted at InstallerSHOW, held at the NEC Birmingham from June 23-26.

Visitors to the show can stop by its stand in the BiKBBI Village and ask questions about starting a kitchen showroom business.

According to the organisaiton, it can help installers starting their retail venture from scratch without a credit history,

It helps with cash flow offering extended payment terms and centralised invoice management, through to guidance on showroom setup and marketing to attract customers.

MHK UK partners with brands such as Schock, Schüller, Bauformat  and most recently JJO and is backed by a community of over 4,200 partners across Europe

Advice slots will be available on a first come, first served basis.

MHK UK has been a long-term partner and supporter of BiKBBI in the institute’s endeavour to represent installation businesses nationwide.

David Morris, sales director for MHK, said: “In recent years, more installers have been future-proofing their businesses by expanding into kitchen and bathroom product sales. Some have even opened their own successful showrooms.

“We admire the entrepreneurial spirit. But setting up a shop can be daunting, which is why this year we’re inviting installers to ask our experienced team any questions they want and trust they’ll receive sound advice.”

David Morris will also deliver a talk about opening a showroom business on June 25, 3.30-4.15pm on the Kitchen of the Future stage in the BiKBBI village.
