Team of 10 raises £10,000 for CLIC Sargent charity
A team of 10 employees from Mira has completed the Three Peaks challenge, raising £10,000 for cancer charity CLIC Sargent, which supports children, young people and their families.
The team climbed Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon back-to-back and within 24 hours, climbing 10,000ft and hiking over 25 miles. And they faced the challenge of 40mph winds.
Marketing manager Tom Rastall, who organised the event for the company, said: “It was a tough event to take on, but thankfully the training and good team spirits helped us all complete the Three Peaks together. More importantly, the fantastic support we received has raised lots of money for CLIC Sargent”.
