Independent builder’s merchant MKM has teamed up with the first female chef in the UK to be awarded a Michelin star, Frances Atkins, to promote its kitchen offer.

Yorkshire chef Frances Atkins and MKM have produced videos inspiring homeowners to make the most of their kitchen space and enhance culinary skills.

She offers advice on how to plan a kitchen, plate like a pro and provides hash brown and stuffed portobello mushroom with cashew nut dressing recipes.

The partnership has seen MKM’s Ripon branch design Frances Atkin’s Paradise Café, which boasts a lakeside setting at Daleside Nurseries, located near Harrogate in North Yorkshire

It includes a chef’s table made out of Dekton, Shaker style kitchens from its Wexford and Waterford range in Bottle Green with Barrington brass handles, plus Caple single oven and wine coolers
