Kitchen manufacturer Moores has hosted its annual internal awards ceremony, which celebrates some of their longest serving employees.
Over a quarter of the team ( 27% ) of the team have been employed by the company for over two decades.
Those who attended the awards have amassed a total of 990 years between them, with the longest celebrating 45 years.

Long service members were invited to a lunch hosted by the CEO, followed by a ceremony to honour their commitment and receive a certificate of achievement.
CEO at Moores Michael Barrett commented: “Our people are a huge part of what make us great and we’re incredibly lucky to have so many that have been with us for so long. Congratulations and of course, thank you, to all of our long service members.”
Established in 1947, Moores is based in Wetherby, West Yorkshire, and following a management buyout supported by Hilco it won Turn Around of the Year at the TRI Awards in 2019.
Sintered stone manufacturer Neolith has launched Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset, inspired by nature and classical architecture, and for use in kitchens or bathrooms walls, floors, in gardens or facades.
They belong to The New Classtone and Fusioncollections which interpret marble and natural stone, respectively, and boast Neolith’s antibacterial NeolEAT technology.
Inspired by Ancient Rome, Calacatta Roma (pictured top) pays homage to Italian Carrara marble, with ochre and grey veins in a white background.
While the Cappadocia region, in central Turkey, with its rock formations formed by volcanoes and underground cities, has inspired Cappadocia Sunset (pictured below).
Just like all of Neolith’s surfaces, Calacatta Roma and Cappadocia Sunset are resistant to heat and atmospheric conditions, are 100% recyclable, and do not contain added quartz to their formulation.
