Irish brand MyLife Bathrooms raised £4,288 at its charity gold day held at Warrenpoint Golf Club, Co Down, which culminated in a dinner and prize-giving ceremony.

Now in its third year, the golfing event raised money for MyLife’s four charity partners, including national and local charities.

The money will be split between the national British Heart Foundation, which researches the cause of heart and circulatory diseases, and Dementia NI that supports people in Northern Ireland with dementia.

While the regional charities which will benefit from the fundraising include Dom’s Food Mission, helping to feed those in MyLife’s community experiencing food insecurity, and local group Caring Coins Association which promotes positive mental health.

The money will be added to MyLife’s other fundraising events and matched by the company at the year end.

Teams gathered for 18 holes of golfing competition with prizes for the Top Three Teams, Closest to Pin and Longest Drive.

Prizes included hospitality tickets for Liverpool v Newcastle at Anfield, an overnight stay with round of golf and evening meal at Castleknock Hotel Resort, Dublin, plus golf hampers and meal vouchers.

All the prizes were donated by MyLife employees and the wider community.

Commenting on the event, MyLife CEO Andrew O’Brien said: “It was a great day, enjoyed by all and most importantly a fantastic amount raised for our charities.

Established in 2013, family-owned MyLife Bathrooms has three distribution centres, employs move than 85 people and has recently expanded its UK sales team.
