Omega extends George Clarke contract

George Clarke remains brand ambassador until 2018

Kitchen furniture manufacturer Omega has extended its brand ambassador contract with designer and TV presenter George Clarke, which will now run until 2018.

George Clarke is creative director of the architectural practice George Clarke + Partners and is the presenter of Channel 4’s Restoration Man and George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces.

Commenting on the contract extension, CEO of Omega Peter Walker said: “Britishness is part of our DNA and shapes everything we do. George Clarke is passionate about the way good design can inspire and transform people’s everyday lives and that’s why we feel he is a perfect fit as our brand ambassador for Omega and our Very British collection.”

The Very British collection incorporates four brands: Mackintosh, Sheraton, Chippendale and English Rose.

Walker added: “The kitchen is the heart of any home and we’re delighted to have George working with us an advisor at a strategic level and also as someone who can really inspire and support our resellers and consumers design and buy a kitchen.

“George is an acknowledged expert in design and will continue to provide useful advice and tips throughout all our communications to guide our customers, as well as online and via platforms such as YouTube.”
