The company has appointed Nick Smallwood as business development manager to oversee the expansion into the UK and establish a core client base for bathroom pods.

Porteus offers the solution for projects requiring a significant number of bathrooms, with the experienced team selling across residential, hospitality, student and care sectors.

Its recent UK client wins have included Strawberry Star, The Hub and Grainger PLC.

Founded and run in Ireland by an engineering-led design team, Porteus Pods are manufactured off-site, which reduces carbon emissions in comparison to traditional construction methods.

The construction process also minimises on-site disruptions, helping to maintain and where possible aid the acceleration of a project.

According to the company, the contemporary pods can be installed in one day, eliminating costly and inconvenient delays.
