PWS’s worksurface factory has produced its 100,000th order since it opened the £10million manufacturing facility in 2007.

The company supplies granite, timber, quartz and solid surface tops, supported by a template and fit service by 19 teams across the country.

The landmark order was for Tracey Murphy of Lewis & Hobbs in Harrogate who has been a customer since production started.

Tracey Murphy visited the company to see her order being produced and commented: “I am privileged to see my order come through production and witness this milestone for PWS Worksurfaces. As a loyal customer, since day one, I have always been impressed with the unfaltering quality and service. PWS’ professional approach and effortless ordering process, backed with competitive pricing, is second to none.

“I’ve built up close relationships with the office staff and the template and fitters in particular. I visit site for the majority of my installations and because I’ve worked alongside the teams for so long they know instinctively what I want so it’s always a seamless operation.”

Managing director at PWS Andrew Elenor, added: “I am extremely proud to see the 100,000th worktop being produced by the PWS factory. Since inception, we have become a leading supplier of bespoke worktops to the kitchen furniture industry with customers across all corners of the UK.
