Managing director of Quooker UK Stephen Johnson is taking part in a spinning bike marathon on February 19 to raise money for a Parkinsons charity.

Managing director of Quooker UK Stephen Johnson is taking part in a spinning bike marathon on February 19 to raise money for a Parkinsons charity.

He aims to raise £5,000 as part of the Quooker International event, to raise money for Parkinson NL and is raising money through JustGiving.

Commenting on his JustGiving profile, Johnson wrote: “We are cycling for a good cause; Parkinson NL pushes back frontiers in the lives of people with Parkinson’s disease.

“The focus is on slowing down and preferably preventing the disease. Until then, we make sure that people with Parkinson’s disease and those around them can lead as good a life as possible.

“Thorough fundraising lays the foundation for targeted investments in research, innovations and education.”

In preparation for the spinning marathon, Stephen Johnson chatted to two-time team GB Olympic Gold medalist Philip Hindes MBE

Johnson has neared his fundraising target, raising 85% of £5,000 with just £705 left to attain.
