RDO Kitchens and Appliances opens Stoneham studio in Reigate, Surrey

Domestic appliance retailer, RDO Kitchens and Appliances has expanded and opened a two-tier showroom in Reigate, Surrey, featuring a Stoneham Kitchen Studio.

It has taken four years of planning, with five months of relocation and a complete rebuild to bring the kitchen and appliance showroom to fruition.

Established in 1952 by Ken Sargant, the business is now run by his son Roger with his daughter April, now the third generation to be involved in the business, as RDO Kitchen Studio’s senior designer.

The showroom features a combination of Stoneham Avant Garde in-frame and Heritage framed collection, with ranges that include: Edwardian, Darwin, Mode, Infinity, Knole, Strata and Fahrenheit, in a choice of colours from Charcoal Gloss Anthracite Oak to Aubergine, Dove Grey and Cashmere.

The kitchens are displayed alongside appliance brands which include Miele, Neff, Siemens, AEG, Bosch, Fisher & Paykel and Gaggenau.

April Sargant commented: “We wanted to show people much more than a collection of kitchen units and appliances,” says April. “We’ve created a highly interactive and engaging showroom, with plenty of room for design consultations, cooking demonstrations, even pop-up restaurants!”

The RDO Kitchens and Appliances showroom is already a contender in the Reigate and Banstead Business of the Year Award.

Adrian Stoneham, MD of Stoneham Kitchens, said on the opening of the showroom: “We’re delighted to welcome RDO Kitchen Studio to our network of appointed kitchen centres. Our designers have worked closely with the RDO team to come up with a spectacular showroom – now we can’t wait to work with them on some new kitchen projects!”
