Electrolux ranked sixth in FTSE4Good Index Series
Electrolux has been included in the FTSE4Good Index Series and ranked among sector leaders in the rating of its ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) factors. The FTSE4Good is an equity index designed to support investors in choosing companies that meet globally-recognised, corporate responsibility standards.
Electrolux has been a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series since it first launched in 2001. This year, in the FTSE4Good ESG Ratings, Electrolux received a 95% score relative to the highest ranked Personal & Household Goods company, giving it a top six position in the sector. The ESG Ratings cover environmental management, climate change, supply chain labour standards, human and labour rights, corporate governance and countering bribery.
Henrik Sundstrom, vice president of sustainability affairs at Electrolux, said: “In addition to the good environmental performance of Electrolux, it is encouraging to see our efforts in human and labour rights have been recognised, and we are among the sector leaders.”
