Bathroom manufacturer Roca Group will invest €70 million in a new production plant in Kyzylorda, in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This investment is part of Roca Group’s international expansion strategy, with the Kazakhstan plant to become the company’s industrial, technological and commercial centre for Central Asia.
The agreement was signed in an official meeting with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Oljas Bektenov, along with Roca Group’s Chairmen, Santiago de Gomar and José Ma Roca.

The project involves the construction of a factory which will manufacture and assemble sanitaryware, bathroom furniture, concealed cisterns and other elements associated with bathroom spaces.
The initiative also includes plans to develop distribution to make these products available across the national territory.
With this new plant, Roca Group reports it reinforces the company’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and the creation of local employment and economic growth.
Roca Group recently received the Platinum medal from EcoVadis, its highest sustainability rating.
