Roca opens GDP 10million brassware plant
Factory to manufacture for Brazilian market
Roca has invested £10million into a brassware factory in Brazil, which spans 50,000 sqm, and has the capacity to produce 1.5 million pieces per year.
The factory also includes warehousing and will serve the Brazilian market.
Brassware sales in Brazil have increased from 50,000 to 400,000 in four years, with Roca investing close to £50million in this market over the past five years, employing 3,800 people across its various factories.
By locating the factory in the north east of the country, Roca claims to be able to adapt its products to meet technical and cultural requirements. In addition, the brassware will be designed to meet the requirements of the country’s water pressure.
